Blueberry Barley Bowl
Blueberry Barley Bowl:
- 1/2 cup barley
- 1 cup water
Cook the same as you would oatmeal. The cooking time is about the same as well; 15 mins or so.
Additions:
- Apples
- a frozen banana
- a handful of frozen blueberries
- dried cranberries
- some ground flax
- coconut
- PB
This is an extremely healthy breakfast that has tons of fiber and will leave you feeling full for hours.
The one barley bowl below is carrot cake inspired.
